At home, planning for the stay in Hua Hin, I took a decision not to book accommodation in advance. We wanted to see how it looked first, because we were going to stay for a while, and at least one month. In Hua Hin you can choose by thousands of hotel, condos, houses for rent, apartments and more. That was why I felt confident finding a home. But then it was Christmas, oh Dear.

Ila, my girlfriend and I, ended up at average hotels, staying a couple of nights before replacing it with a new one, with a hope of an upgrade. A bit stressful, and we were in need for a kitchen to make our own food. Eating at restaurants and staying at average hotels in peak season is not sustainable when going to stay longtime in Thailand.

Condos seemed to be the solution mid February, tourist going home and the peak season has not entered into the high season. I never liked living in a condos, it can be luxurious and to a great price. BUT, is like walking through a graveyard most of the time. Corridors as quiet as the one explored in Eastern Europe, also long and sterile. No people, dead environment. Happily the luck changed just in time, and we went to Soi 102.

Kate the owner and architect, placed this house with four apartments on her mamas land. Renting out three of the apartments and living in one herself. We stayed for five weeks, enjoying the outdoor garden and the shadow especially. Only 200 meters to the beach and neighbor of one of the best malls, Bluport. Name of the location, Baan Paradee.

My favorite hotel in Hua Hin was fully booked trough the whole peak season. They also have unbelievable prices for monthly rent. I regret not booking it before departure. Here it is: Seamira House. The hotel have the best play area I ever have seen, with dart, snooker, two ping pong tables, air hockey, archery and a great gym with boxing equipment. All free of charge!

If I had to stay in a condo I would opt for La Habana or La Casita. Very popular, luxurious, good location and to a great price.

What a boring post. Only information for people going to Hua Hin. I promise from now on, you will get the stories!
